On 11/20/19, the CFPB released their twice-a-year agenda of planned rulemaking activities. Interesting observations of changes from the spring agenda include the addition of “E-Sign Act Requirements” being added to the long-term actions list while “Regulation E Modernization” was removed from the long-term actions list. It should also be noted that, while this list outlines their planned agenda, that things can change. For example, neither of the 2018 agendas included Regulation CC, though the Spring 2019 agenda listed Regulation CC in the Final Rule Stage and a final rule was released in June of 2019.
For their 2019 Fall agenda, the CFPB has included the following:
Long-Term Actions
Amendments to FIRREA Concerning Appraisals (Automated Valuation Models)
Disclosure of Records and Information
Review of Inherited Regulations
Consumer Access to Financial Records
